Appreciation of his work
To reflect upon what is good in a person's life and work, I feel is life-enhancing, with regards what we are each & all capable of individually and collectively:-
I have been inspired by Bob Dylan's work since the age of 15, for many reasons and in different ways (I may write more about this, another time). Whenever I take a break in my listening to his recordings, upon my return the physical charge I feel is similar to that which I felt the first time I heard 'Like a Rolling Stone' all those years ago. I feel it is the power of such free & powerful expression, from the depths of his soul, which moves and affects me the most. From my youth onwards, his work has encouraged and supported me to forge my own path.

Inspiration
Yes, Bob's music is from his heart and soul. That's why from the beginning, his music has been focused on expressing his feelings the way he wants to, rather than just surface, fleeting, entertainment. Albums rather than singles. I am so glad to see others who do "get it"! "Well, I try my best
To be just like I am,
But everybody wants you
To be just like them."

Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
